But at the same time, he recognizes that, fuck it, women are beautiful and they have beautiful bodies and as long as everything is also practical, why can’t there be eyecandy? And he does the same thing with men. Joss Whedon is excellence personified I don’t think he objectified Natasha or Pepper. Sure, the Black Widow outfit is tight, but not tighter than Captain America’s or Hawkeye’s and it doesn’t show any skin. Pepper’s short weren’t much show-off either, I think it was actually very solid compared to what some teens are wearing. And I really like Joss for that. And for the shot you see above ;)

The thing I like about Joss is that he doesn’t objectify women, in that he writes them as actual women - you know, real humans with real personalities.
